Cold brews, lattes, and an old Min Pin named Lucy!

I show no constraint when it comes to loving coffee or my dog. They're both pretty awesome.

My love affair with coffee started as a kid when my grandfather would sneak me a sip or two from his coffee-filled Stanley steel, work thermos. It wasn't fancy, artisan, or organic, but it was hot, delicious and made Norwegian strong as only my grandmother could. I've traded up to cold brews and bulletproof lattes these days, but I still can't resist a good cup of joe out of a Stanley steel thermos.

I achieved one of my childhood goals in 2015, when I became a dog owner. I'd always loved dogs, but long work hours and small city apartments had kept me from adopting. Then came Lucy!  A small, 12-year-old Miniature Pinscher who didn't mind city apartments or long work hours as long as she had somewhere comfortable to sleep and food in her bowl...my perfect dog. She taught me a lot in the three wonderful years I had with her. Making me an even better dog parent to my current furry friend, Tilly, a 7-year-old Borgidor (Border Collie - Collie - Labrador) who loves belly rubs and car rides.
